About Us

Michael Manning was born and raised in Queens, New York. A graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx, and Hofstra Law School on Long Island, Michael spent five years as an Assistant District Attorney in New York where he represented the people of the State and worked with victims of crime in prosecuting hundreds of criminal defendants. While pressing for justice on both felony and misdemeanor charges, including Special Victims crimes, Michael earned the respect of his colleagues, his opponents and the bench. He also earned a reputation for being a tough but sensible prosecutor.

Later on, while defending doctors and hospitals from medical malpractice claims at a Midtown Manhattan law firm, Michael sat for and passed the Florida Bar Exam in 2011. On admission to the Florida Bar, Michael relocated his young and growing family to South Florida. After spending nearly seven years litigating hundreds of civil cases in Courts throughout the State, from Miami to the Panhandle for a well-respected boutique litigation practice in Broward County Mike opened his own litigation firm, the Law Offices of Michael Manning.

Unlike other lawyers masquerading as trial attorneys, each one advertising themselves as more “aggressive” than the last, Mike has actually seen his clients through trial to verdict in both civil and criminal trials. In addition to his extensive experience in complicated medical malpractice matters and criminal litigation, Michael is an experienced litigator in all areas of insurance disputes, from personal injury claims to first party insurance disputes over complicated matters like claims handling, coverage disputes, and bad faith. In addition, Mr. Manning has a great deal of experience in defending insurers against fraudulent claims, even working with local authorities when necessary.

Given his experience litigating in courthouses in dozens of counties across two states, Michael is uniquely situated to ensure the protection of your rights and interests in all types and phases of litigation. If you are in need of an attorney capable of seeing you through to a verdict, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Although he’s made the adjustment to everyday life here in Florida, enjoying the (near)tropical climate with his wife and three young children, he still clings to the perennial hope that his hometown New York Mets will one day win another World Series.
